In the spring of 2008, we added chickens to the farm.  Chickens are allowed to free range during the day, foraging for green grass, seeds and insects.  This “salad bar” approach to their diet improves the flavor and texture of the meat and the eggs they produce.  Both broilers and fresh eggs are available on the farm.

For 2010:
    Whole chickens will be available on or around the following dates:
July 30
August 13
August 20
September 3
September 17
October 1

Fresh Chicken   - $3.00/pound
Frozen Chicken - $3.50/pound
Chickens must be picked up up on the farm.

Turkeys  -  $3.00/pound   
Will be available for Thanksgiving and Christmas 2010
