How do I place an order?

1. Click on any one of the buttons or links on the site that say "Place an order now" or "Shop for this product." This will take you to our online ordering.

2. Add the items to your cart that you want to order.  Because we sell by the pound, the total of your cart will be a very good ESTIMATE, until we pull your order and update it.

3. Follow the directions for checking out and please don't hesitate to holler if you have any questions - it's a new system for us and we're learning here too.

4.When we pull your order, we'll send you an invoice which can be paid online or at pickup and confirm the pickup date and time.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
  
All orders delivered will be charged a $.15/pound handling fee, plus delivery using the following scale:

<60 miles from the farm (i.e. Dodge, Pratt) - $5

60-120 miles from the farm (i.e. Wichita, Hutch) - $10

>120 miles from the farm - $15

Example: A customer orders 25# of ground beef to go to Wichita

25# x $.15 = $3.75
 
So the delivery fee will be $3.75 for handling + $10 to go to Wichita = $13.75.

How often do you deliver?

Our East, North, and West routes are run once a month. We go to the Far East (Topeka, Olathe, etc) once a quarter. Check out our Calendar  to see the next time we are headed your direction.
Can I get added to your delivery routes?

Sure! If you're in a town near some place we already stop at, holler and we'll see what we can do. If you live somewhere totally off our routes, we're willing to try and figure something out, but we need to have at least $1500 in sales to add a route. Visit with your friends or family and see what you can come up with.
What type of payments do you accept? 

We accept the following forms of payment:

*Cash
*Checks - $30 overdraft fee for any returned checks
*Credit/Debit Cards
Do you ship your products? If so, how does that work?

First of all, we only ship a little frozen meat.  The logistics and expense can be tricky. Call or email us.  We'll quote you a price and go from there. This, however, is not our first choice for delivery - we don't get to see you AND there's variables out of our control.

However, if you would like soap or summer sausage sent your way, we can set you up.  Go to the Items We Ship in our store. Pick out what you'd like and add it to your cart.  We'll check orders first thing Monday mornings, pull orders, figure postage and then invoice you. Get your payment to us by 9:00 Wednesday morning. We'll make a trip to the post office and get your order on it's way.  We know that only shipping once a week is not super convenient but we're more rural than many of you can imagine.
